E-Crime Investigation

Our firm has been involved in many e-crime cases over the years, one unusual area of  investigation is electronic crime related to deliberate radiation poisoning also known as Havana Syndrome and the use of other hi-tech energy devices. 

With advances in technology, it is possible for criminals to utilize electronic devices to disrupt and cause harm by purchasing devices on the deep web or even online public forums that can be used for modifying  a domestic device to dangerous levels. This is a crime in many US states.

What is Havana Syndrome?

Havana syndrome is a series of debilitating symptoms that first affected U.S. intelligence officers and embassy staffers stationed in Havana, Cuba in 2016 and has affected US diplomats, officials and family members, as well as a number of Canadian diplomatic staff deployed in Cuba. Over 300 people have been affected by this syndrome to date.

Who can be affected?

Diplomats working in Geneva and Paris have also fallen ill with a suspected neurological illness known as "Havana syndrome", and also members of the public who may have been involved in working on important projects for large organizations.
